What to Expect When You Visit

St. Barnabas for Worship

All are welcomed to our church!

Irrespective of what you believe or where you worshiped before (or if you didn’t), what you do, who you love or your depth of knowledge of Jesus Christ, all are welcome here!

When you visit us for the first time, we want you to be able to relax, feel welcome, and participate as you choose.

When you join our worship, you have the choice between our simple and contemplative 8:30 am Sunday Eucharist and our exuberant 10:30 am Eucharist with music and choir. Children are welcome and treasured at both services. During the 10:30 Eucharist, they may leave for Sunday School during the readings and sermon and return for the Eucharist.

Come as you are!

Here at St. Barnabas we are a very inclusive and informal church community and we want everyone to feel at home.

When you arrive the ushers will give you a bulletin (program) which will guide you through the service. If you have never been to an Episcopal Church, the booklet makes it easy to follow along. In addition, the person in the pew next to you, in front of you or behind you will gladly answer any questions and help guide you.
